The GENERAL ELECTRIC usyf18ucdwa is a ductless console-style indoor unit rated at 14,800 BTU/h cooling capacity and designed for single-zone or multi-zone mini-split systems operating at 208-230 volts, 60 Hz, single phase. Built for floor-level installation, the console form factor makes it well suited for spaces where wall mounting is impractical. It includes built-in Wi-Fi with SmartHQ Home integration and supports Amazon Alexa and Google Home voice control. Licensed HVAC technicians install this unit as part of a matched indoor-outdoor ductless system, connecting it to the outdoor condensing unit via refrigerant lines and low-voltage control wiring.
The usyf18ucdwa is intended for residential and light-commercial single-room or multi-zone ductless applications where floor-console placement is preferred. It is compatible with select General Electric outdoor units as part of the Indoor Units Compatible with Select Series lineup. The unit provides five fan speeds with airflow ranging from 223 to 341 CFM and indoor sound levels as low as 37 dBA on the lowest speed setting, making it a practical choice for bedrooms, additions, sunrooms, or server-adjacent spaces where noise levels matter.
Designed for use with select General Electric outdoor condensing units as part of the Indoor Units Compatible with Select Series product lineup. Consult the outdoor unit documentation to confirm matched-system compatibility before ordering.
Installation must be performed by a licensed HVAC technician in accordance with local mechanical codes and the manufacturer written instructions. Shut off all power to the circuit before making electrical connections, and recover any existing refrigerant before opening the refrigerant circuit. The liquid-line connection is 1/4-inch O.D. and the suction-line connection is 1/2-inch O.D.; use the correct flare fittings and leak-test all connections before startup. The 1-1/4-inch drainpipe must pitch properly to allow gravity drainage and prevent condensate backup.
