The GENERAL ELECTRIC asyw24crdda is a ductless highwall indoor unit rated at 24,000 BTU/h, designed for single-zone and multi-zone mini-split systems operating on 208-230V/60Hz/1-phase power. This unit installs on an interior wall and connects to a compatible outdoor condensing unit to deliver cooling capacity for residential or light commercial spaces. It features built-in Wi-Fi with SmartHQ Home integration and supports Amazon Alexa and Google Home voice control. Licensed HVAC technicians handle installation, refrigerant connection, and system commissioning. The unit ships at approximately 37.48 pounds and has a net weight of 30.9 pounds.
The asyw24crdda is suited for single-zone applications paired with the ASH124CRDDA outdoor unit, or as part of a select multi-zone outdoor unit configuration. It is intended for highwall mounting in residential or light commercial interiors where a concealed-duct system is not practical or desired. The unit provides five fan speed stages plus Auto, with airflow ranging from 482 to 846 CFM, allowing precise comfort control across a range of room sizes and load conditions.
Compatible with the ASH124CRDDA outdoor unit for single-zone system completion. Also compatible with select multi-zone outdoor units in the GE Ductless lineup. Refer to the outdoor unit documentation to confirm multi-zone pairing.
Installation must be performed by a licensed HVAC technician holding the appropriate EPA Section 608 refrigerant handling certification. Power must be disconnected at the disconnect box before any electrical or refrigerant line work begins. Refrigerant line connections use a 1/4-inch liquid line O.D. and a 1/2-inch suction line O.D.; lines must be properly flared, leak-tested, and evacuated before charging. Follow all local mechanical and electrical codes, including NEC requirements for dedicated branch circuit sizing and disconnect placement.
