The GENERAL ELECTRIC asyw18prdbb is a single-zone ductless highwall indoor unit from the Altitude Series, rated at 17,000 BTU/h cooling capacity. Designed for 208-230V/60Hz single-phase power, this unit mounts on an interior wall and connects to a dedicated outdoor unit to deliver zoned cooling without ductwork. It operates across five fan speed stages plus auto, with an indoor sound level as low as 34 dBA at its quietest setting. Licensed HVAC technicians install this unit as part of a complete single-zone mini-split system. WiFi control is supported via an optional adapter module sold separately.

Designed for use in a single-zone system only. The compatible outdoor unit to complete this single-zone system is the GENERAL ELECTRIC ASH118PRDBB. This indoor unit is not rated for multi-zone outdoor configurations.

Installation Notes

Installation must be performed by a licensed HVAC technician in accordance with local mechanical codes and the manufacturer installation instructions. Disconnect and lock out all power to the system before making any electrical or refrigerant line connections. Refrigerant line connections use a 1/4-inch O.D. liquid line and a 1/2-inch O.D. suction line. The system requires proper evacuation and leak testing of the refrigerant circuit before startup.
