The GENERAL ELECTRIC ash124ucdda is a ductless mini-split outdoor heat pump unit rated at 24,000 BTU/h and designed for 208-230 volt single-phase power. Part of the Endure Series, this outdoor condensing unit pairs with a compatible indoor air handler to deliver both heating and cooling without requiring ductwork. It is sized for residential or light commercial spaces where a ducted system is impractical or undesirable. Licensed HVAC technicians handle installation and refrigerant work in compliance with EPA Section 608 requirements.
This unit is suited for single-zone ductless applications in residential bedrooms, additions, sunrooms, garages, and small commercial spaces. The 24,000 BTU/h capacity targets mid-size zones where a window unit is insufficient and a full ducted system is not viable. It operates on 208-230 volt power, making it compatible with standard residential and light commercial electrical service when properly wired to a dedicated circuit.
Designed as an OEM-style outdoor condensing unit for use in a matched ductless mini-split system requiring a 24,000 BTU/h heat pump at 208-230 volts. Consult the system documentation to confirm the correct matched indoor air handler before ordering.
Installation must be performed by an EPA 608-certified HVAC technician. Shut off all electrical power to the circuit before making any wiring connections, and follow NEC guidelines for dedicated-circuit sizing at 208-230 volts. Mount the outdoor unit on a level pad or approved wall bracket with adequate clearance on all sides for airflow and service access. Do not operate the unit without verifying that the refrigerant line set is properly evacuated and charged per the manufacturer documentation.
