The GENERAL 94B is a nickel-plated pin vise designed to hold small-diameter round stock, wire, drills, reamers, and other slender tools during precision hand work. The collet-style jaw opens from 0.025 inches to 0.075 inches, giving technicians and tradespeople a secure grip on fine workpieces without marring the surface. The hollow nickel-plated body runs the full length of the handle, allowing long wire or rod stock to pass completely through. At 3.5 inches in overall length and 0.375 inches in overall diameter, the 94B fits comfortably in one hand for controlled rotation and accurate positioning.
The 94B is suited for bench work across multiple trades. HVAC and refrigeration technicians use pin vises to hold small drill bits when clearing orifices or deburring tubing. Electricians and low-voltage installers use them to manipulate fine wire during panel or control-board work. Plumbers and general service technicians reach for a pin vise when a standard chuck is too large for the task. The compact size makes it practical in tight work areas on residential and light commercial equipment.
Designed as a general-purpose pin vise for use with small drills, reamers, deburring tools, files, and fine wire across trade and bench applications where a standard chuck cannot grip the workpiece diameter.
No power source is required for this hand tool. Insert the workpiece through the collet end and tighten the knurled chuck collar finger-tight until the collet grips firmly. Do not over-tighten, as the collet is sized for light-duty clamping and can deform small-diameter stock if excessive force is applied. Inspect the collet jaw periodically for wear or debris that could prevent consistent gripping.
