The GENERAL ELECTRIC usyf09ucdwa is a ductless console-style indoor unit rated at 9,000 BTU/h cooling capacity, designed for single-zone and multi-zone mini-split systems operating at 208-230 volts, 60 Hz, single phase. Built-in WiFi with SmartHQ Home integration allows remote control through Amazon Alexa and Google Home without an add-on module. The unit delivers up to five selectable fan speeds ranging from 147 to 264 CFM and maintains indoor sound levels as low as 31 dBA at the lowest setting. Licensed HVAC technicians install this unit as the indoor evaporator section of a compatible GE ductless system.
The usyf09ucdwa console format mounts at floor level, making it well suited for residential rooms where wall or ceiling mounting is not practical, including sunrooms, additions, and retrofit applications where running refrigerant lines to a wall-mounted unit is difficult. The unit is compatible with select GE single-zone and multi-zone outdoor unit series. Blue Fin coil protection, Warm Start, and Turbo Mode are included features that support performance in cold-climate heating applications, with a rated maximum heating capacity of 4,000 BTU/h at -22 degrees F outdoor ambient.
Compatible with select GE single-zone and multi-zone outdoor unit series as stated by the manufacturer. Consult the outdoor unit documentation to confirm matched system compatibility before installation.
Installation must be performed by a licensed HVAC technician holding the appropriate EPA Section 608 certification for refrigerant handling. Shut off all electrical power to the system at the disconnect before making any electrical or refrigerant connections. Refrigerant line connections use a 1/4-inch liquid line and a 3/8-inch suction line; ensure all flare connections are properly torqued per the manufacturer installation manual rather than general estimates. The 1-1/4-inch drainpipe must be routed and pitched to drain freely to prevent condensate backup inside the unit.
