The GENERAL ELECTRIC asyw24trdfa is a single-zone ductless highwall indoor unit rated at 23,000 BTU/h cooling capacity, designed for installation in residential and light-commercial split-system applications. Operating on 208-230V/60Hz/single-phase power, it pairs exclusively with the ASH124TRDFA outdoor unit to form a complete single-zone system. The unit ships with built-in Wi-Fi, SmartHQ Home integration, and voice control support for Amazon Alexa and Google Home. Five fan speed selections plus Auto mode give technicians and end users flexible airflow control from 440 to 810 CFM. Indoor sound levels range from 38 dBA at the lowest speed to 53 dBA at the highest, making this unit suitable for living spaces where noise is a consideration.
This indoor unit is intended for single-zone ductless mini-split installations in residential settings. It mounts on an interior wall and connects to the matched outdoor condenser via 3/8-inch liquid and 5/8-inch suction refrigerant lines. Features such as Blue Fin coil protection, Warm Start, and Turbo Mode are included to support performance in varied climate conditions. The unit is not designed for multi-zone configurations and must be paired with the specified outdoor model. Licensed HVAC technicians handle installation, refrigerant line connection, and system commissioning.
Designed for use as a single-zone system only. Compatible outdoor unit to complete the system: ASH124TRDFA.
Installation must be performed by a licensed HVAC technician in accordance with local mechanical codes and EPA Section 608 refrigerant handling regulations.
