The GENERAL ELECTRIC ash436ncdda is a multi-zone ductless mini-split outdoor heat pump unit from the Endure Multi series, rated at 33,400 BTU/h cooling capacity and designed to serve 2 to 4 indoor zones from a single outdoor cabinet. It runs on 208-230V/60Hz single-phase power and uses a DC inverter-driven rotary compressor with A-PAM variable-speed technology for efficient part-load operation. The Blue Fin coil protection and base pan heater make this unit suitable for low ambient heating operation down to -15 degrees F. Installation is performed by licensed HVAC technicians as part of a complete ductless split system.
This outdoor condensing unit is suited for residential and light commercial applications where multiple zones require independent temperature control without ductwork. It supports 2 to 4 compatible GE Endure Multi indoor units connected via flare refrigerant line sets. The unit operates across a wide temperature range: 14 to 115 degrees F in cooling mode and -15 to 75 degrees F in heating mode, making it a viable year-round solution in cold climates. Maximum line length is 230 feet and maximum height differential is 50 feet between indoor and outdoor units.
Compatible with select GE Endure Multi Zone indoor units supporting 2 to 4 indoor models per outdoor unit. Refer to GE documentation to confirm individual indoor unit model compatibility before ordering line sets or accessories.
This outdoor unit must be installed by a licensed HVAC technician in accordance with local mechanical codes and the manufacturer installation instructions. Shut down all electrical power to the circuit before making any wiring or refrigerant connections. Refrigerant line connections are flare-type and require a proper flare tool and torque wrench; do not overtighten or cross-thread fittings. The minimum circuit ampacity is 33 amps and the maximum fuse size is 40 amps — verify that the dedicated circuit meets these requirements before energizing the unit.
