Product Description

Ge Appliances MWFP is a refrigerator water filter that uses carbon-block media to reduce chlorine taste and odor, lead, cysts and select pharmaceuticals. The MWFP offers a twist-and-lock, tool-free installation for no-mess replacement and a recommended six-month filter life. It is tested/verified for pharmaceutical reduction, supports up to 0.5 gpm flow, and operates at 40 to 120 psi for select GE side-by-side and bottom-freezer refrigerators.

  • Carbon block filtration certified to NSF/ANSI 42 and 53; reduces chlorine taste and odor, lead and cysts
  • Tested/verified to reduce five trace pharmaceuticals including ibuprofen, progesterone, atenolol, trimethoprim and fluoxetine
  • Twist-and-lock tool-free installation with six-month recommended filter life; max flow 0.5 gpm, operating pressure 40–120 psi
