The GENERAL ELECTRIC AJEQ12DWJ is a 26-inch through-the-wall heat and cool air conditioner rated at 12,000 BTU/h cooling capacity at 230 volts, with an integrated electric resistance heat strip delivering up to 10,600 BTU/h at 230V. It uses R32 refrigerant and operates on 208/230V single-phase power. Built-in WiFi via the GE SmartHQ communication card allows remote monitoring and control through a mobile device. The unit carries an Energy Star certification and achieves a Combined Energy Efficiency Rating (CEER) of 9.5 at both voltage ratings. Installation Notes

Installation must be performed by a qualified HVAC technician and a licensed electrician, as the unit requires a dedicated 208/230V circuit sized to local NEC requirements. Disconnect and lock out all electrical power before removing an existing unit or working inside an existing sleeve. Do not operate the unit without the sleeve fully secured and sealed per the installation instructions, as improper sealing can cause condensate and air infiltration issues. A new sleeve (RAB26A) is required for any installation where no sleeve is currently in place.
