Abrasive sleeves slip over a rubber drum that expands when the arbor nut is tightened, locking the sleeve firmly in place for consistent contact with the workpiece. The drum measures 1.5 inches in diameter by 1.5 inches in length. Each unit ships with one sanding sleeve, an arbor, and a mandrel, giving the user everything needed to start sanding in a single package. This tool is well suited for shaping, smoothing, and deburring curved cuts, inside radii, and contoured surfaces that flat sanders cannot reach.
