The GATOR 4212 is a coarse-grit abrasive sheet designed for aggressive material removal on a wide range of surfaces. Each sheet measures 9 inches x 11 inches and carries a 50-grit coarse rating, making it well-suited for stripping, shaping, and leveling tasks where fast stock removal is the priority. The sheets feature a resin bond coating that resists breakdown under load and outlasts standard glue-bonded sandpaper, reducing how often sheets need to be swapped out during a job. Each box contains 25 sheets.
These sandpaper sheets are used on wood, metal, plastic, and painted surfaces across residential and light commercial jobsites. Typical applications include removing old paint or finish, smoothing rough lumber, prepping metal for coating, and knocking down high spots on filler or body work. The 9 x 11 inch format is compatible with most hand-sanding blocks and can be cut down to fit quarter-sheet and half-sheet pad sanders. Contractors, finish carpenters, painters, and general tradespeople keep these on hand for prep work across multiple trades.
Designed for use on wood, metal, plastic, and painted surfaces. The standard 9 x 11 inch sheet format is compatible with most hand-sanding blocks and can be trimmed to fit common quarter-sheet and half-sheet orbital and finishing sanders.
No installation is required for abrasive sheets. Power down any pneumatic or electric sanding tool and disconnect it from its power source before loading or changing sheets. When cutting sheets to size, use a straight edge and a utility knife on a protected work surface. Always wear appropriate eye protection and a dust mask or respirator rated for the material being sanded, particularly when working on painted surfaces that may contain lead.
