The GASOILA as05 FasSeal-ATS is an anaerobic thread sealant with PTFE supplied in a 50ml tube. It cures without shrinkage to form a tough, insoluble, vibration-proof seal on pipe threads and fittings. Once fully cured, it seals to the bursting strength of the pipe and resists galling and seizing. The formulation tolerates a working temperature range of -65 degrees F to 375 degrees F and seals to 10,000 psi immediately after application. Despite its strong cure, the sealant allows for disassembly when service is required. Licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, pipefitters, and refrigeration mechanics are the primary installers.
The as05 is designed for use on inactive metals as well as conventional piping materials. Typical applications include air conditioning refrigerant lines, hydraulic and pneumatic lines, air compressor hoses, plated flare fittings, sprinkler installations, housings, plugs, pipe threads, fuel lines, steam lines, and natural gas lines. It is chemical-resistant to petroleum, butane, propane, natural gas, water, steam, refrigerants, chlorine, caustic sodas, acids, oils, and gasoline. This sealant is not approved for use with oxygen systems.
Suitable for use on inactive metals and conventional piping materials. Recommended for air conditioning lines, hydraulic and pneumatic lines, air compressor hoses, plated flare fittings, sprinkler installations, pipe threads, fuel lines, steam lines, and natural gas lines. Not for use with oxygen.
This product is installed by licensed plumbers, pipefitters, HVAC technicians, and refrigeration mechanics working on threaded pipe and fitting connections. Ensure all mating surfaces are clean and free of debris before applying the sealant. Follow applicable codes including IFGC for gas piping applications and consult local mechanical codes for other systems. Do not use on oxygen lines under any circumstances.
