The GARDNER BENDER PTP-25T is a 0.25 inch blue data cable staple designed for securing low-voltage network and data cabling in residential and light commercial installations. Each staple consists of a UV-resistant polyethylene saddle paired with zinc-plated nails, providing long service life in both indoor and outdoor-exposed applications. The clip-on cable holding design speeds up installation, reducing the time needed to dress and fasten cable runs along walls, baseboards, and framing. This 25-count pack is suited for electricians, low-voltage technicians, and data cabling installers working on structured wiring projects.
The PTP-25T is used to route and secure common network and communications cabling in residential, commercial, and light industrial environments. Typical applications include securing horizontal cable runs during new construction or retrofit installations. The staple accommodates a range of standard data and coaxial cable types, making it a practical fastener for mixed-media wiring jobs where multiple cable types are run through the same space.
Compatible with RJ-11, RJ-12, RJ-45, CAT 3e, CAT 5e, RG-59, and RG-6 4-pair twisted wiring, as well as 4-pair UTP and Thin Net cabling.
Low-voltage and data cabling installers typically drive these staples using a hammer or a compatible staple gun into wood framing, baseboards, or furring strips. Follow NEC Article 800 guidelines for communications cable installation, including maintaining proper separation from higher-voltage conductors. Avoid over-driving the staple, as excessive force can deform the saddle and damage cable jacket integrity. Ensure cable runs are laid without sharp bends before fastening.
