The GARDNER BENDER PSW-1650T is a single-nail coaxial cable staple designed to secure coaxial and low-voltage wiring to framing, sheathing, and finished surfaces. Each staple combines a high-grade injection-molded polyethylene saddle with a zinc-plated nail. The smooth saddle profile holds cable firmly without pinching or deforming the jacket, which helps preserve signal integrity. Constructed to resist UV exposure, rust, rot, and general weathering, this staple is rated for both indoor and outdoor installation environments. Each pack contains 25 staples.
The PSW-1650T is suited for residential and light commercial wiring work where low-voltage cables must be routed and fastened along walls, ceilings, or exterior surfaces. Typical applications include securing coaxial TV and satellite cable, speaker wire, telephone wire, and bell or doorbell wiring. Electricians, low-voltage technicians, and structured wiring installers use this staple wherever a clean, damage-free cable route is required. The 0.25-inch saddle opening accommodates standard coaxial cable diameters used in residential installations.
Designed as an OEM-style fastener for securing coaxial, speaker, telephone, bell, and other low-voltage cables in residential and light commercial wiring applications.
Low-voltage technicians and electricians typically drive these staples with a hammer into wood framing, furring strips, or sheathing. De-energize any nearby circuits before routing cable along finished surfaces. Avoid overdriving the nail, as excessive force can compress the saddle and damage the cable jacket or affect signal performance. Follow applicable low-voltage wiring guidelines and local building codes when routing cable through walls or to exterior locations.
