The GARDNER BENDER PS-75 is a clear poly cable staple designed to secure electrical cable along framing, joists, and other structural surfaces. Built from unbreakable clear polypropylene, this staple measures 3/4 inches wide by 3/8 inches in depth and is sold in a 50-count pack. The transparent construction allows installers to quickly verify cable placement without removing the fastener. Electricians and low-voltage installers use these staples when running cable through residential and light commercial framing where a clean, secure, and code-conscious installation is required.
The PS-75 is suited for securing 3-wire UF cable, non-metallic sheathed cable (NM/NM-B), and BX armored cable. It is commonly used in residential new construction and retrofit wiring projects where cables must be fastened at regular intervals along wood framing members per NEC spacing requirements. The 50-count pack provides enough fasteners for a typical single-room rough-in.
Designed for use with 3-wire UF cable, non-metallic sheathed cable, and BX armored cable in residential and light commercial electrical installations.
Installation is performed by licensed electricians or qualified electrical workers. De-energize all circuits in the work area before running or fastening cable. Drive staples flush to the framing surface without over-driving, as excessive force can damage cable insulation and create a code violation. NEC Article 334 and Article 340 govern fastening intervals and methods for NM and UF cable — consult the applicable code edition for your jurisdiction.
