The GARDNER BENDER MS-150 is a carbon steel cable staple designed for securing electrical cable to wood framing, studs, and joists. Measuring 1/2 inch by 15/16 inch, these staples are built for fast, consistent installation during rough-in wiring work. The recessed head channels hammer force directly along the legs of the staple, producing a straighter drive with less effort. Sold in a 100-count box, the MS-150 is a standard consumable stocked by electricians for residential and light commercial wiring projects.
These cable staples are suited for securing nonmetallic sheathed cable (NM-B), low-voltage wire, and similar conductors to wood surfaces. The staple geometry and material are sized for common cable runs in residential framing, making them a go-to fastener during new construction and renovation work. The 100-count quantity supports a typical service call or rough-in phase without excess inventory.
Designed as an OEM-style fastener for use with standard nonmetallic sheathed cable and low-voltage wire secured to wood framing surfaces.
Cable staples are installed by licensed electricians following NEC guidelines for cable support and spacing. Drive each staple by hand with a standard hammer, allowing the recessed head to guide the strike. Do not over-drive staples, as excessive force can damage cable insulation and create a code violation. De-energize any existing circuits in the work area before handling cable runs near live conductors.
