The GARDNER BENDER GSE-410 is a square-profile cable staple designed to secure and route electrical cable along wood framing members. Each staple features a 1-7/16 inch leg length and a 1-1/16 inch overall width, making it appropriately sized for larger cable runs. The saddle-free, square shape provides a direct mechanical hold against the cable jacket without a bridging saddle piece. This package contains 100 staples. Licensed electricians and experienced electrical installers use these fasteners during rough-in wiring on residential and light commercial projects.

The GSE-410 is suited for securing SE and armored cable to wood substrate in new construction and retrofit wiring applications. Compatible cable types include 2/3 SE, 4/3 SE, BX, MC, and NM cables. The gray color provides a neutral appearance that blends with typical interior framing environments. These staples are driven by hand or with a compatible staple driver into wood framing, studs, joists, and similar structural wood members.

Installation Notes

Installation is performed by licensed electricians in accordance with NEC Article 334 (NM cable) and Article 330 (MC cable) fastening requirements. Power down all circuits in the work area before routing and fastening cable. Drive staples flush to the framing surface without over-driving, as over-driven staples can damage cable insulation and create a code violation. Use a staple driver or hammer appropriate for the staple size and framing material.
