The GARDNER BENDER GCC-410 is a non-corrosive conduit strap designed to secure conduit runs in residential and commercial electrical installations. Made from heavy-duty polyethylene, this strap resists deterioration from UV exposure and maintains structural integrity in extreme cold. Sized for 1-1/4 inch conduit, it is compatible with Schedule 40 PVC and copper conduit. Each pack contains 10 straps, making it a practical choice for contractors completing panel runs, raceway work, or service entry installations where multiple fastening points are required.
This strap is suited for interior and exterior conduit fastening applications where corrosion resistance and UV stability are priorities. Typical installation scenarios include securing conduit along exterior walls, through framing, and in wet or damp locations where metal straps would be prone to rust or galvanic interaction with copper pipe or conduit. Licensed electricians and electrical contractors are the primary installers for this type of hardware.
Designed for use with 1-1/4 inch Schedule 40 PVC conduit and 1-1/4 inch copper conduit in standard electrical raceway installations.
Installation is performed by licensed electricians in accordance with NEC requirements for conduit support spacing. De-energize all circuits in the work area before securing conduit near live conductors. Standard drill and screwdriver or screw gun are the typical tools required for fastening straps to framing, masonry, or structural surfaces. Do not overtighten fasteners, as excessive force can deform the strap body and reduce holding strength.
