The G E LIGHTING 93130868 is a 15-watt LED T8 linear lamp sold in a 10-pack, designed to replace 32-watt T8 fluorescent lamps in commercial and institutional lighting applications. Built on a glass T8 form factor with a bi-pin base, each bulb delivers 1800 lumens and offers three selectable color temperatures — 4000K, 5000K, and 6500K — via an on-lamp switch. The Color Rendering Index (CRI) is 80, and the maximum overall length (MOL) is 4 inches. Rated lamp life is 50,000 hours, reducing relamping frequency in high-use installations.
This T8 LED is suited for drop-ceiling troffers, strip fixtures, and wraparound luminaires found in offices, retail spaces, warehouses, and schools. The Type A/B hybrid design allows installation in two configurations: ballast-compatible mode using the existing fluorescent ballast, or direct-wire mode bypassing the ballast entirely. Electricians and lighting maintenance technicians can choose the installation method based on job requirements and ballast condition. The 10-pack format is appropriate for multi-fixture relamping projects.
Designed as a direct replacement for 32-watt T8 linear fluorescent lamps in standard bi-pin T8 fixtures; operates in ballast-compatible mode with compatible fluorescent ballasts or in direct-wire mode with ballast bypassed.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local jurisdiction requirements. Always de-energize the circuit at the breaker before handling any lamp or luminaire. In direct-wire (Type B) mode, the ballast must be properly bypassed and isolated per the lamp manufacturer wiring instructions to prevent shock hazard. Confirm the selected operating mode using the on-lamp switch before installing the lamp into the fixture.
