The G E LIGHTING 38451 is a 15-watt PAR38 LED flood light bulb designed to replace 90-watt incandescent lamps while delivering 1,300 lumens of bright white light. Rated at 3,000 Kelvin with a CRI of 80, it produces a warm yet crisp output suited for accent and general illumination. The 40-degree beam angle makes it effective for directional flood applications. Dimmable and Energy Star certified, this bulb is appropriate for residential and commercial interior fixtures where long-rated-life and energy efficiency are required. Each package contains three bulbs. Licensed electricians and lighting contractors install this type of fixture lamp during new construction or retrofit projects.
This PAR38 LED bulb fits standard medium-base sockets and is well suited for recessed cans, track lighting heads, and outdoor-rated flood fixtures that accept a medium base PAR38 lamp. The 40-degree flood beam covers broad wash applications such as retail display lighting, landscape accents, and general room illumination. With a rated life of 15,000 hours and an estimated 13.7-year service life, replacement frequency is significantly reduced compared to incandescent sources. The bulb ships in retail box packaging in a quantity of three units per package.
Designed as a direct replacement for 90-watt PAR38 incandescent flood bulbs in medium-base fixtures. Suitable for recessed downlights, track heads, and enclosed or open fixtures rated for PAR38 medium-base lamps.
Always de-energize the fixture at the breaker before replacing a lamp. Verify the fixture is rated for PAR38 medium-base lamps and that any dimmer in the circuit is LED-compatible, as legacy incandescent dimmers may cause flicker or reduce lamp life. No tools are required for standard socket installation. Consult NEC guidelines when installing or replacing fixtures in wet or damp locations.
