Frost King V444H Vinyl Foam Weatherseal Tape Gray

Product Description

The FROST KING V444H is a self-adhesive vinyl foam weatherseal tape designed for sealing gaps and air leaks around doors, windows, and other building envelope penetrations. Measuring 3/8 inch wide by 1/4 inch thick by 17 inches in length, this gray tape features medium compression foam that conforms to irregular surfaces and maintains a consistent seal under contact pressure. It is water resistant, making it suitable for both interior and exterior applications. HVAC techs, insulation contractors, and general building trades use this product for draft control and weatherproofing tasks on residential and light commercial jobs.

This tape is appropriate for sealing door frames, window sashes, garage doors, attic hatches, and similar gaps where a compressible foam seal is needed. Its self-stick backing allows for quick installation without additional adhesive or fasteners. The water-resistant construction holds up to moisture exposure in exterior conditions, including around entry doors and sliding windows. It is well suited for both new installation and retrofit weathersealing work where a low-profile, flexible seal is required.

Installation Notes

Clean and dry the mounting surface before applying the tape to ensure proper adhesion. Remove the release liner and press the foam tape firmly along the intended sealing surface, working from one end to the other to avoid air pockets. No special tools are required, but surface temperatures should be above freezing at time of application for best adhesive bond. Follow local building code requirements for weathersealing and air infiltration control where applicable.
