It regulates water flow to the ice maker and dispenser and serves as a direct OEM replacement (internal ID WCI 5304538014). The valve requires a minimum 20 psi water pressure to shut off properly and is used to address water flow issues, dispenser malfunctions, and ice maker overflow by restoring proper water supply control.
