The FRIEDRICH FSHW121C is a single-zone ductless mini-split outdoor condenser unit from the Floating Air Select Series. It delivers 12000 BTU/h of cooling capacity and 13000 BTU/h of heating capacity, making it a capable year-round comfort solution for residential and light commercial spaces. Rated at 18 SEER, this unit operates on 115 volts at 60 hertz with a maximum amperage draw of 25 amps. The FSHW121C is intended for professional installation by a licensed HVAC technician and ships with mounting hardware for the indoor air handler head.
This condenser is suited for single-zone ductless applications in residential settings such as room additions, converted spaces, and areas where extending existing ductwork is not practical. The system supports a maximum piping length and height of 66 feet, giving installers flexibility in locating the outdoor unit relative to the indoor head. The unit operates at a sound level of 53 dB. Liquid line connections measure 1/4 inch and the suction line measures 3/8 inch.
Designed as part of the Friedrich Floating Air Select Series for single-zone ductless mini-split systems. Pair with a compatible Friedrich Floating Air Select Series indoor air handler head. Consult Friedrich product documentation to confirm matched indoor unit compatibility before installation.
Installation must be performed by a licensed HVAC technician in accordance with applicable local codes and manufacturer guidelines. Shut off all electrical power to the circuit before making electrical connections, and recover any residual refrigerant per EPA Section 608 requirements before opening the refrigerant circuit. Line set connections require proper flaring or brazing technique to prevent refrigerant leaks. Do not exceed the specified maximum piping length or height during rough-in.
