The cabinet is 21 inches wide and is designed for downflow and horizontal installation configurations. This unit is intended for residential or light-commercial forced-air heating systems and is typically installed by licensed HVAC technicians.
This furnace is suited for applications requiring a high-efficiency, multi-position gas furnace in tight or unconventional installations. The downflow and horizontal configurations make it practical for installations in crawl spaces, utility closets, or platforms where upflow is not feasible. With a 5-ton nominal capacity, it is sized for larger residential or small commercial air handler systems. Installation must be performed by a licensed HVAC technician in accordance with the National Fuel Gas Code (NFPA 54) and all applicable local codes. Shut off the gas supply and disconnect electrical power before servicing or connecting the unit. The ECM blower and any communicating controls should be wired per the manufacturer wiring diagram supplied with the unit. Verify that the venting system meets the manufacturer specifications for a 97 percent condensing furnace, including proper condensate drainage.
