The FREUD DS0608CF is a carbide-tipped reciprocating blade engineered for cutting thick metal in demanding trade and demolition applications. Part of the Diablo Steel Demon line, it features a 6-inch length and 8-tooth configuration optimized for aggressive material removal through cast iron, high-strength alloy steel, and stainless steel. The blade carries a Perma-Shield coating that reduces heat buildup, resists gumming, and inhibits corrosion during extended cuts. A 1-inch-wide demolition body adds lateral rigidity, producing straighter cuts with reduced vibration compared to standard bi-metal recip blades.
