The FREUD DOSCGX is a 2-3/4 inch Starlock carbide oscillating blade engineered for grout, mortar, and tile adhesive removal. The blade combines a 40-grit sanding plate for surfacing and joint routing on wall and floor tiles with a carbide grit tip that reaches tight corners and hard-to-access areas. Packaged in a quantity of four, this blade is suited for tile setters, flooring installers, and general contractors who need consistent cutting performance across high-volume removal work. The Starlock interface provides a tool-free quick-change connection, reducing downtime during job transitions.
This blade is designed for use in grout and mortar removal applications on wall and floor tile installations. The 40-grit carbide grit construction handles tile adhesive as well as grout lines, making it a practical choice for both renovation tear-out and new installation prep work. It fits Fein and other Starlock-compatible oscillating tools, and is also compatible with most non-Starlock multi-tools, giving it broad utility across common tool inventories on the job site.
Fits Fein and other Starlock oscillating tools. Also compatible with most non-Starlock multi-tools. Designed for grout, mortar, and tile adhesive removal on wall and floor tile applications.
Installation and blade changes should be performed with the tool powered off and unplugged or battery removed. Use the Starlock quick-change interface as designed — do not force the blade onto non-compatible arbors. Wear appropriate eye protection and a dust mask when removing grout or mortar, as fine particulate is generated during cutting. Tile and masonry work may be subject to local building code requirements; confirm applicable standards before beginning any structural tile removal.
