The FREUD DMAPL4230 is a 5/8-inch diameter by 12-inch overall length (10-inch working length) SDS-Plus rotary hammer drill bit built with a full-carbide head and a 4-cutter geometry. Marketed under the Diablo brand, this bit uses tri-metal diffusion bonding technology to fuse the carbide head to the steel shank, resisting heat buildup and preventing tip breakage under sustained hammer drill loads. The full-carbide head design is engineered to cut through concrete that contains rebar without shattering, making it a reliable choice for anchor-setting work that requires ANSI-approved hole tolerances.
