The FREUD DMAPL4110 is a 5/16-inch x 4-inch x 6-inch SDS-Plus hammer drill bit built for drilling fast, accurate holes in concrete containing rebar. Part of the Rebar Demon series, this bit features a full-carbide head with a 4-cutter geometry, produced using tri-metal diffusion bonding technology. That bonding process allows the carbide head to resist heat buildup and absorb impact stress without fracturing, extending service life in demanding applications. The precision tip geometry promotes stability and accuracy for ANSI-approved anchor setting in reinforced concrete. Sold in a 5-piece package.
This bit is suited for residential and commercial concrete drilling tasks where rebar interference is expected. Typical applications include anchor bolt installation, dowel drilling, and post-installed fastener work in reinforced slabs, walls, and foundations. The SDS-Plus shank is optimized for performance in both corded and cordless SDS-Plus rotary hammer drills. The full-carbide head design handles the dual cutting demands of concrete matrix and embedded rebar without requiring bit changes mid-hole.
Designed for use with corded and cordless SDS-Plus rotary hammer drills. Also noted as compatible with SDS-Max rotary hammers per manufacturer application data.
Installation is performed by a qualified tradesperson using an SDS-Plus or SDS-Max rotary hammer drill. Before drilling, verify the work area is clear of concealed utilities and that the concrete substrate is suitable for the intended anchor system. Wear appropriate PPE including eye protection and hearing protection during hammer drilling operations. Follow anchor manufacturer load and embedment specifications when using holes for structural anchor setting.
