The FREUD DHS4125 is a 4-1/8-inch high performance hole saw designed for fast, deep boring in a single pass through wood and metal. The variable tooth geometry reduces vibration during the cut and allows faster material removal compared to standard fixed-tooth designs. A tool-free plug ejection system clears the bore without stopping work. The Snap Lock mounting interface provides a quick-change connection to any compatible Snap Lock mandrel, eliminating downtime between cuts. The mandrel and pilot bit are sold separately. This saw is suited to electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, and general contractors who regularly bore large-diameter holes through structural and finish materials.
The DHS4125 is intended for use in residential and light commercial applications where holes in the 4-1/8-inch range are required — common scenarios include running ductwork penetrations, conduit, drain lines, and recessed fixture cutouts. The Snap Lock system is compatible with all Diablo hole saws ranging from 5/8 inch to 6 inches in diameter, so one mandrel serves an entire set. It cuts wood and metal, making it a practical choice for mixed-material installations encountered in retrofit and new construction work.
The Snap Lock mandrel system is compatible with all Diablo hole saws from 5/8 inch to 6 inches in diameter. Mandrel and pilot bit are sold separately.
Install the mandrel and pilot bit per the mandrel manufacturer instructions before mounting the hole saw. Ensure the workpiece is secured before drilling and that appropriate eye and hearing protection is worn. For metal cutting applications, reduce drill speed and use a cutting fluid to extend tooth life. Power down the drill completely before changing the hole saw or clearing a plug.
