The FREUD DHS2375 is a 2-3/8-inch diameter by 2-3/8-inch depth hole saw engineered for high-performance cutting in wood and metal. The variable tooth design reduces vibration during the cut while maintaining faster material removal rates compared to standard tooth patterns. A deep cutting depth of 2-3/8 inches allows the saw to bore through thick stock in a single pass, reducing the need for repositioning or multiple passes. The Snap Lock system provides a tool-free mandrel change, minimizing downtime between cuts. This hole saw is suited for electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, and general contractors who need reliable, repeatable bores in a range of materials.
The DHS2375 is designed for use in residential and light commercial applications where drilling clean, accurate holes through wood framing, sheet metal, and similar materials is required. The tool-free plug ejection feature accelerates material removal, making it practical for high-volume rough-in work such as running conduit, pipe, or ductwork through framing. The Snap Lock mandrel interface is compatible with all Diablo hole saws ranging from 5/8 inches to 6 inches in diameter, allowing one mandrel to serve an entire set. Note that the mandrel and pilot bit are sold separately.
Compatible with all Diablo Snap Lock mandrels designed for hole saws ranging from 5/8 inches to 6 inches in diameter. Mandrel and pilot bit are sold separately.
Installation of the mandrel and pilot bit should be completed before mounting the hole saw in the drill. Always disconnect power from the drill or driver before changing accessories. Secure the workpiece firmly before drilling to prevent movement during the bore. Follow applicable trade codes and jobsite safety requirements when drilling through structural members or finished assemblies.
