The FREUD DHS2063 is a 2-1/16 inch diameter hole saw with a 2-3/8 inch cutting depth, designed for trade professionals who need reliable performance boring through wood and metal. The variable tooth geometry reduces vibration during cutting and improves cut speed compared to standard uniform-pitch designs. The Snap Lock system allows tool-free mandrel changes, eliminating downtime between bore operations. The cutting depth is sufficient to complete most standard material thicknesses in a single pass without repositioning.
This hole saw is suited for residential and light commercial applications where electricians, plumbers, and HVAC technicians need to bore clean, accurate holes through wood framing, sheet metal, electrical enclosures, and similar substrates. The 2-1/16 inch diameter is commonly used for pipe penetrations, conduit routing, and fixture rough-in work. The Snap Lock mandrel interface is compatible with all Diablo hole saws ranging from 5/8 inch to 6 inch diameter. Note that the mandrel and pilot bit are sold separately.

Installation and use of this hole saw is typically performed by licensed electricians, plumbers, or HVAC technicians during rough-in stages. Secure the workpiece before cutting and ensure the drill or drill press is set to an appropriate speed for the material being bored. Disconnect power to any panels or enclosures before cutting into or near energized equipment. Do not force the saw through material; allow the tooth geometry to do the work to avoid tooth stripping or workpiece damage.
