The FREUD DHS1375 is a 1-3/8 inch diameter hole saw with a 2-3/8 inch cutting depth, designed for boring clean, deep holes in wood and metal in a single pass. Built under the Diablo line, this saw features a variable tooth design that increases cutting speed while reducing vibration during use. The tool-free plug ejection system speeds up material removal between cuts. Compatible with the Snap Lock mandrel system, bit changes require no tools and cause no downtime. The mandrel and pilot bit are sold separately.
This hole saw is suited for residential and commercial applications where tradespeople need to bore holes through wood framing, metal studs, electrical boxes, plumbing rough-in work, and similar structural materials. Electricians, plumbers, and general contractors use this saw for drilling through single or stacked material layers in one pass. The 1-3/8 inch diameter is a common size for conduit, piping, and cable pass-through applications. The package quantity is 10 units, making it practical for stocking a job trailer or supply room.
Designed for use with wood and metal. Works with the Snap Lock mandrel system, which fits all Diablo hole saws ranging from 5/8 inch to 6 inch diameter. Mandrel and pilot bit are sold separately.
Install the Snap Lock mandrel into a corded or cordless drill before attaching the hole saw. Ensure the workpiece is secured before drilling to prevent movement. Power down the drill completely before ejecting the plug or changing the saw. Follow applicable safety codes and wear appropriate eye and hearing protection when cutting metal.
