The FREUD DCD060320P15G is a 15-pack of 6-inch, 320-grit random orbital sanding discs engineered for super-fine finishing work. These discs feature a ceramic abrasive blend that removes material faster than standard aluminum oxide discs while delivering extended service life. Stickfast hook-and-loop backing allows fast disc swaps without stopping work. The Endura-bond grain bonding system locks abrasive particles in place under heavy load, resisting premature shedding and breakdown. Clog-Shield, a proprietary blend of grinding agents, reduces disc loading so the cutting surface stays clear and productive through extended use. These discs are a professional-grade consumable suited for woodworkers, finish carpenters, cabinet installers, and painters who need consistent swirl-free results at the final grit stage.
These sanding discs are designed for use with 6-inch random orbital sanders in residential and light commercial finishing applications. Typical use cases include final-pass sanding on wood surfaces before staining or painting, scuff sanding between finish coats, and surface prep on MDF, hardwood, softwood, and previously painted substrates. The 320-grit super-fine classification makes these discs appropriate for the last stages of a multi-step sanding sequence where scratch pattern and surface smoothness are critical. The 15-disc pack quantity is well suited for production finishing environments where disc turnover is frequent.
Designed as a replacement or consumable supply for 6-inch random orbital sanders equipped with hook-and-loop (stickfast) pad interfaces.
Align the disc squarely onto the sander pad before activating the tool to ensure the hook-and-loop backing seats fully. Inspect the sander pad for worn or contaminated hook material before mounting new discs, as a degraded pad reduces disc retention and shortens disc life. Do not apply excessive downward pressure during use with super-fine grits, as these discs are designed for light finishing passes rather than aggressive stock removal. Discard discs when loading or glazing cannot be cleared by light brushing, as a loaded disc generates heat and can mar the finish surface.
