The FREUD DAG3010 is a 3/8-inch by 17-1/2-inch auger bit engineered for drilling through nail-embedded wood. The self-feeding dura-tip pulls the bit through material without manual pressure, while dual cutting edges produce clean, consistent holes in both green lumber and wood containing nails. Deep flutes accelerate chip evacuation, extending run time per battery charge on cordless tools. The DAG3010 is compatible with corded and cordless impact drivers and drill drivers. The DAG3010 is designed for use in residential and light commercial construction and renovation work. It is most commonly used when boring through wall studs, floor joists, and roof framing where embedded fasteners are likely.
