The FREUD D1090X is a 10-inch, 90-tooth circular saw blade engineered for ultimate polished finish cuts in wood and laminate materials. Built under the Diablo line, this blade uses Tico Hi-Density carbide formulated for extreme durability and up to 5 times longer cutting life compared to standard carbide. The double side grind tooth geometry delivers finished surfaces equivalent to 220-grit sandpaper, while the axial shear face grind design cleanly shears through material to reduce splintering and tear-out. Advanced stabilizer vents reduce noise and vibration for precise, controlled cuts. The ultra-thin kerf design minimizes material waste and reduces load on the tool motor, making it suitable for high-production finish carpentry work.
This blade is designed for finish cutting applications in residential and light commercial woodworking and carpentry. It performs in fine molding, hardwoods, softwoods, veneered plywood, melamine, and laminates. Typical install scenarios include trim carpentry, cabinet installation, and finish flooring work where chip-free edges and polished cross-cut surfaces are required. The Perma-Shield non-stick coating reduces drag, gumming, and corrosion during extended use.
Designed for use with 10-inch table saws, miter saws, and sliding compound miter saws equipped with a 5/8-inch arbor. Suitable for cutting hardwoods, softwoods, veneered plywood, melamine, and laminates.
Blade installation should be performed by a qualified carpenter or tradesperson with the saw fully powered down and unplugged before changing blades. Confirm the saw arbor size matches the 5/8-inch bore before mounting. Use the appropriate blade wrench and follow the saw manufacturer torque guidance for arbor nut tightening. Inspect the blade for damage before each use and never exceed the maximum RPM rating of the saw or blade.
