The FREUD 34-114 is a carbide roundover router bit designed to mill a consistent 3/8-inch radius profile along the edges of wood, MDF, plywood, and similar materials. The bit features a 1/4-inch shank and delivers a 1/2-inch cutting length, with a total length of 2-3/16 inches. Carbide construction provides extended edge retention compared to high-speed steel, making it a reliable choice for production cabinetry, furniture work, and millwork. Licensed carpenters, finish carpenters, and experienced woodworkers are the primary installers.
This roundover bit is suited for use in fixed router tables and handheld routers accepting a 1/4-inch collet. It is commonly applied in residential and light commercial millwork shops for softening edges on door frames, cabinet faces, shelving, and trim components. The 3/8-inch radius profile is a standard edge treatment in furniture and cabinet production. The bit is sold in a package quantity of 10 units, making it appropriate for shop stocking or crew-level distribution.
Designed for use in routers equipped with a 1/4-inch collet, including fixed router tables and handheld routing applications.
Installation and bit changes must be performed with the router unplugged or the power source fully de-energized. Insert the shank fully into the collet and tighten according to the router manufacturer specifications before operation. Eye and hearing protection are required during use. Inspect the bit for carbide damage or cracks before each use and do not operate a damaged bit.
