The FREUD 34-100 is a 1/16 inch radius rounding over router bit designed for edge profiling on wood and composite materials. It features Freud's Quadra-Cut design, which uses four cutting edges arranged to produce a flawless finish in cross-grain applications while reducing tearout. The Perma-Shield non-stick coating reduces heat buildup and resin accumulation, extending cutting life. This bit is suited for use in CNC machines, hand-held routers, and table-mounted router setups. Licensed carpenters, millworkers, and finish carpenters are the primary installers and users of this tooling.
The FREUD 34-100 is used to mill edge profiles on hardwood, softwood, plywood, and composite panels. Typical applications include softening sharp edges on cabinet doors, drawer faces, furniture components, and custom molding work. Its compact 1/16 inch radius makes it well suited for subtle edge breaks on finished parts where a larger radius would be too aggressive. It performs in both production CNC environments and single-pass hand-held routing operations.
Designed for use in CNC routers, hand-held routers, and table-mounted routers capable of accepting standard router bit shanks. Suitable for hardwood, softwood, plywood, and composite panel stock.
Router bits should be installed and changed by a qualified operator familiar with router tooling safety. Always power down and disconnect the router from its power source before changing bits. Ensure the bit shank is fully seated and the collet is torqued to the router manufacturer's specification before operation. Wear appropriate eye and hearing protection during use.
