The FORNEY INDUSTRIES INC 60125 is a double-cut tungsten carbide rotary burr in the SF-3 tree radius profile. It features a 3/8 inch head diameter and a 1/4 inch shank, sized for standard high-speed die grinders. The double-cut flute pattern removes material aggressively on the forward pass while producing a finer finish than single-cut designs. This burr is built for trade and industrial use where precise material removal, deburring, or contouring work is required on a variety of workpiece materials. Fabricators, machinists, pipefitters, and HVAC sheet metal workers commonly reach for this style of burr during fitting and finishing operations.
The 60125 is suited for use on ferrous metals, plastics, fiberglass, and other machinable materials. The tree radius profile makes it especially effective in curved pockets, pipe bores, weld seams, and other confined or contoured areas that flat or cylindrical burrs cannot reach cleanly. It is designed specifically for use with high-speed die grinders, making it a standard tool in fabrication shops, maintenance facilities, and field service work where a die grinder is already part of the kit.

Install the burr shank fully into the die grinder collet and tighten the collet nut securely before operation. Always power down and disconnect the die grinder from its power source before changing burrs. Wear appropriate eye protection and gloves when operating rotary burrs, as carbide burrs generate chips and debris at high RPM. Follow the die grinder manufacturer's maximum RPM rating to avoid overloading the burr or the tool.
