The Fluke LVD1A is a non-contact AC voltage detector combined with an LED flashlight. This device is designed for detecting AC voltages in a range from forty to three hundred volts. The detector lights up blue when near an AC voltage source and red when it is in contact with the voltage source. It operates at frequencies between fifty and sixty Hertz and can detect voltage from a distance of one to five inches.
