The FLUKE FLUKE-714B/EN is a handheld, battery-operated thermocouple calibrator designed for field and bench calibration of thermocouple-based instrumentation. It measures and sources multiple thermocouple types as well as millivolts, making it a versatile tool for HVAC technicians, instrumentation technicians, and calibration professionals. The unit supports a maximum voltage of 30 volts to earth and carries an accuracy of 0.010% plus 2 digits. The LCD display provides clear readings during both source and measure operations, and the included traceable calibration certificate supports documentation requirements in regulated environments.
This calibrator is suited for residential and commercial HVAC applications, industrial process instrumentation, and any setting where thermocouple transmitters require calibration or verification. It can calibrate a linear thermocouple transmitter using the millivolt source function while simultaneously measuring milliamps, allowing loop calibration without additional test equipment. Supported thermocouple type B and PT1000 RTD compatibility extends its usefulness across a range of sensor types commonly encountered in building automation, boiler control, and process heating systems.
Designed for use with thermocouple type B sensors and PT1000 RTD instrumentation. Suitable as a calibration tool for linear thermocouple transmitters and process instrumentation loops in HVAC, boiler, and industrial control applications.
This instrument is installed and operated by instrumentation technicians or licensed HVAC service professionals familiar with thermocouple and process loop calibration. De-energize and isolate the loop or transmitter under test before connecting the calibrator to avoid measurement errors or equipment damage. Follow IEC 61010-1 safety requirements and ensure the circuit voltage does not exceed 30 volts to earth during use. Refer to the included manual for proper connection procedures before sourcing or measuring signals.
