The FLUIDMASTER pro1f30 is a braided stainless steel faucet supply connector designed for lavatory faucet installations in residential and light commercial plumbing. The connector features a 3/8-inch compression inlet and a 1/2-inch female iron pipe (FIP) outlet, with a total length of 30 inches. Its construction combines a polymer core encased in braided stainless steel wire to deliver resistance to bursting and kinking under normal supply pressure conditions. Weighing just 0.36 pounds, it is easy to handle during installation. The pro1f30 is rated for a 10-year warranty and meets or exceeds applicable code requirements for flexible water connectors.
This connector is suited for use in under-sink lavatory faucet supply line replacements and new installations. The 30-inch length accommodates standard rough-in distances between the shutoff valve and the faucet tailpiece in most residential vanity and pedestal sink configurations. The 3/8-inch compression fitting connects directly to a standard angle stop or straight stop valve, while the 1/2-inch FIP end threads onto a standard faucet supply shank. Licensed plumbers and qualified installers use this connector during faucet replacement, bathroom remodels, and routine supply line upgrades.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement supply connector for residential and light commercial lavatory faucet applications using a 3/8-inch compression shutoff valve and a 1/2-inch FIP faucet inlet.
Shut off the water supply at the angle stop or main shutoff and relieve line pressure before removing the old connector. A licensed plumber or qualified tradesperson should perform this work in accordance with local plumbing codes and IPC guidelines. Hand-tighten the compression fitting first, then snug with an adjustable wrench — do not over-torque, as this can crack the compression nut. After installation, restore water supply slowly and inspect both ends for leaks before closing the cabinet or finishing the installation.
