The FLUIDMASTER INC B1T12CS is a 12-inch braided stainless steel toilet supply connector designed for residential and light commercial toilet installations. It features a Click Seal connection system in which the nut produces an audible click when a proper seal is achieved, eliminating guesswork and reducing the risk of over-tightening. Over-tightening is a leading cause of cracked connector nuts and damaged fill valve shanks, so this built-in feedback mechanism is a practical advantage during routine installations. The connector measures 12 inches in length and terminates with a 3/8-inch female compression thread on one end and a 7/8-inch female ballcock thread on the other.
This connector is suited for toilet rough-in plumbing in residential bathrooms, multi-family units, and light commercial restrooms. The braided stainless steel construction provides durability and resistance to abrasion compared to ribbed polymer alternatives. It is typically installed by licensed plumbers or experienced plumbing contractors during new toilet installations or when replacing an aging or leaking supply line. The 3/8-inch compression inlet is compatible with standard stop valve outlets, and the 7/8-inch ballcock end connects directly to the fill valve shank on most standard toilets.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation supply line for standard residential and light commercial toilets with a 3/8-inch compression stop valve outlet and a 7/8-inch ballcock fill valve shank.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber or qualified plumbing contractor. Shut off the water supply at the stop valve and flush the toilet to relieve line pressure before disconnecting any existing supply line. Hand-tighten the Click Seal nut until the audible click is heard, then verify for leaks upon restoring water supply. Do not use a wrench to force the nut past the click point, as this may crack the nut or damage the fill valve shank.
