The FLUID FILM cnasb is a black, solvent-free undercoating compound formulated to protect bare and rusted metal surfaces from corrosion. Sold in a 1-gallon container, this wet-application coating penetrates into the pores of metal and leaves a non-drying, self-healing film that resists salt, brine, and atmospheric moisture. Unlike film-forming coatings that crack or peel, the lanolin-based formula stays pliable after application. It contains no solvents, silicones, or teflons, making it suitable for use in enclosed or low-ventilation areas. Fleet maintenance techs, undercoating shops, and automotive service professionals are the primary installers.
The cnasb is specifically engineered for undercoating applications on vehicle frames, wheel wells, floor pans, and structural metal exposed to road salt and environmental moisture. The black pigmentation blends with factory undercoating and provides a finished appearance on visible undercarriage components. It also performs on agricultural equipment, trailers, marine hardware, and any ferrous metal subject to corrosive environments. Where existing rust is present, the coating soaks into the surface and inhibits further oxidation progression rather than simply sealing over it.
Designed for use on ferrous metal surfaces requiring corrosion protection, including vehicle undercarriages, frames, agricultural equipment, trailers, and marine hardware exposed to salt or moisture.
Surface preparation should include removal of loose scale or debris before application. The product can be applied by brush, roller, or spray equipment rated for heavy-bodied coatings. Wear appropriate PPE including gloves and eye protection during application. Allow adequate dwell time before exposing the coated surface to water or road conditions.
