The FLOOD/PPG ARCHITECTURAL FIN FLD521-01 is a UV-protective exterior wood finish formulated to restore and protect weathered wood surfaces. Sold in a 1-gallon container with a Redwood tint, this finish carries a VOC level of 275 grams per liter and is engineered to revitalize dried-out, weather-beaten decks and exterior wood. It resists cracking, peeling, and flaking while guarding against moisture intrusion and ultraviolet ray damage. The finish also incorporates mildew resistance to extend the service life of treated surfaces. It is applied by painting contractors, deck restoration specialists, and experienced DIYers.

FLD521-01 is intended for use on exterior wood surfaces that have weathered for at least one year. Typical applications include residential and light commercial decks, fences, siding, and other outdoor wood structures exposed to sun and precipitation. The Redwood tone is suited for natural wood restoration projects where a warm, traditional appearance is the goal. It is not recommended for use on new, unweathered wood that has not had adequate time to open its grain.
