The FLOOD/PPG FLD448/01 is a penetrating oil finish formulated for exterior wood surfaces. Sold in a 1-gallon container with a Cedar Tone colorant, this product delivers deep moisture protection by saturating wood fibers rather than forming a surface film. It carries a VOC content of 350 grams per liter, placing it within many regional compliance thresholds for exterior coatings. The finish is intended for professional application on a wide range of exterior wood species and substrates. Licensed painting contractors, carpenters, and experienced applicators are the typical installers for this product.

This oil finish is designed for use on exterior wood only. Suitable substrates include cedar, redwood, and pressure treated lumber. It can also be applied over previously finished surfaces where the original coating was CWF-Oil and has faded, provided all non-CWF-Oil coatings have been completely removed beforehand. It is not intended for interior surfaces or for use over incompatible prior coatings. Package quantity is 4 units per case.
