The FLAGRO THC-175DF is a ductable, direct-fired forced-air heater rated at 175,000 BTU/h with a maximum blower output of 1,200 CFM. It operates on dual fuel liquid propane or natural gas and converts between the two without special tools. The unit runs on 115 volts, 1-phase, 60 Hz and draws up to 15 amps. Thermostatically controlled operation maintains consistent heat output across large temporary spaces. The cast-iron burner, igniter, and flame-sensor assembly are all field-serviceable. Licensed HVAC technicians, gas-appliance technicians, construction site supervisors, and rental fleet operators are the primary users of this equipment.
The THC-175DF is designed for large tent events, construction enclosures, industrial work areas, and other temporary structures requiring high-output forced-air heat. Its ductable box-style configuration accepts flex or rigid duct transition components for directed airflow distribution. The unit suits both short-duration event heating and extended job-site use where a permanent heating plant is unavailable. Propane fuel consumption runs approximately 8 pounds per hour at full fire. Natural gas consumption is approximately 175 cubic feet per hour.
Designed for use with Flagro THC-series duct transition and diffuser accessories, including the THCP-HD175 heater diffuser. Compatible replacement parts are available under the THC-175DF model family from Flagro.
Installation and commissioning should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician or qualified gas-appliance technician familiar with temporary heat equipment. Shut off the fuel supply and disconnect electrical power before performing any service or duct connection work. Verify that the fuel type LP or NG matches the orifice and regulator configuration before startup. Follow all applicable local codes and the manufacturer operations manual for venting, clearances, and fuel-line sizing.
