The FLAGRO FVO-400LTRC is a self-contained, trailer-mounted indirect-fired oil heater that combines heat output, onboard power generation, and site lighting in a single towable unit. At its core, a Flagro 400RC indirect-fired burner produces 390,000 BTU/h of clean, ductable heat through a 16-gauge, 304 stainless steel heat exchanger. An onboard 8 kW single-phase generator running at 1,800 RPM delivers 120-volt power, and a two-stage 15-foot light mast supports four 1.8-amp LED fixtures for job site illumination. Deployment is handled by HVAC contractors, construction crews, and equipment rental professionals working in demanding outdoor or semi-enclosed environments.
The FVO-400LTRC is built for heavy-duty temporary heat applications on construction sites, civil projects, and industrial job sites where independent power and lighting are also required. The indirect-fired design keeps combustion gases separated from the heated airstream, making the output clean enough for occupied or enclosed work areas. The unit delivers 4,000 CFM of air circulation through two 12-inch duct outlets and accepts intake air through a 16-inch recirculation inlet. A 300-gallon onboard fuel tank supports extended run times between refueling stops, and the trailer configuration allows straightforward repositioning as work zones shift.
Designed as a self-contained trailer-mounted unit for temporary heating applications on construction and industrial job sites requiring independent power and lighting. No external power source or separate generator is required for operation.
Deployment and commissioning should be performed by qualified HVAC or equipment service technicians familiar with oil-fired combustion equipment. Shut down and fully de-energize the unit before servicing the burner, heat exchanger, generator, or fuel system. Verify that all duct connections are secure and that adequate clearance from combustible materials is maintained before startup. Follow all applicable codes, including CSA B140.8 and UL733, as well as local fire and safety authority requirements for temporary heating equipment on job sites.
