The FLAGRO FVNP-400RC is an indirect fired, dual fuel space heater rated at 390,000 BTU/h with a maximum airflow of 4,000 CFM. It operates on natural gas or propane and delivers clean, combustion-free air into the conditioned space through a recirculation hood. Combustion gases are exhausted externally through the unit's exhaust stack, making this heater suitable for occupied or semi-enclosed job sites with air quality requirements. Power supply is 115 volts, 1-phase, 60Hz with a 15-amp circuit requirement and an actual draw of approximately 10.5 amps. A 1 HP backward-incline blower motor and a 16-gauge 304 stainless steel heat exchanger handle airflow and thermal transfer. Licensed HVAC or mechanical contractors and industrial heating technicians are the typical installers.
The FVNP-400RC is designed for temporary heating on commercial construction sites, industrial facilities, warehouses, hangars, and large tented or enclosed work areas where clean air delivery is required. The recirculation hood pulls return air from the conditioned space and reheats it, improving thermal efficiency in cold ambient conditions. Because heated output air contains no combustion byproducts, this unit qualifies for use in occupied spaces subject to air quality requirements. It is certified for use in both Canada and the United States. The unit has no onboard fuel tank; fuel is supplied from an external source sized to meet rated gas pressure and flow volume requirements.
The FVNP-400RC is a dual fuel indirect fired heater in the Flagro FV-400 series. Accessories and replacement parts listed for the FVNP-400RC and FVNP-400 apply to this unit. Confirm fuel type, voltage supply, and duct or hood configuration requirements before substituting within the FV-400 product family.
Installation and commissioning should be performed by a licensed mechanical or HVAC contractor familiar with temporary heating equipment and applicable codes, including IFGC and ANSI Z83 standards for gas-fired construction heaters. Shut off the gas supply and disconnect electrical power before performing any service or maintenance on the unit. Size the external supply line and regulator to deliver the rated gas pressure and flow volume required by this unit. Never operate the unit in a fully sealed, unventilated space; adequate combustion air intake and exhaust venting must be maintained at all times per the operating manual.
