The FLAGRO FVNP-400 is a dual-fuel indirect fired construction heater rated at 390,000 BTU/h, designed for temporary heating on job sites and in industrial settings. It operates on propane or natural gas with manual fuel selection, giving crews flexibility based on available supply. The heat exchanger is constructed from 16-gauge 304 stainless steel for durability under continuous high-output operation. A 3/4 HP fan motor delivers 2,500 CFM of conditioned air through the unit and into the work space. Power requirements are 115 volts at 15 amps with a 10.5-amp draw. Licensed HVAC technicians and qualified construction heating contractors are the typical installers and operators of this unit.
The FVNP-400 is built for temporary climate control on commercial construction sites, large-scale renovation projects, and industrial worksites where a clean, dry heat source is required. Because it is an indirect fired unit, combustion gases are vented separately from the heated air stream, making it appropriate for occupied or enclosed spaces where direct fired heaters cannot be used. The unit is ductable up to 150 feet, allowing heated air to be distributed throughout large work areas. It is certified for use in both Canada and the United States under gas-fired construction heater standards.
The FVNP-400 is a standalone indirect fired construction heater. Compatible replacement parts including the G400 burner drawer assembly and flame rod assembly are available and designed specifically for the FVNP-400 and FVNP-400RC models.
Installation and operation must be performed by qualified technicians familiar with gas-fired construction heater codes, including applicable requirements under the IFGC and local jurisdiction standards. Always shut off the gas supply and disconnect power at 115 volts before performing any service or connection work. Ensure the flue and combustion exhaust are properly vented to the exterior before operating in any enclosed or occupied space. Consult the FVNP-400 operations manual for fuel line sizing, venting requirements, and startup procedures.
